My trustworthy bicycle finally gave way yesterday after running my errands and trying to pick up my kids from school. I ended up walking to school and reaching just in time for pick up and thankfully the journey home wasn’t that bad as the weather was kind.

I finally took part the rear wheels to check and discovered that the axle was broken. A quick video tutorial on youtube later, I have ordered a replacement axle and ball bearings over ebay and alixpress. Let’s see if I can get the bike up and running in 2 weeks time.

Thankfully, we have a spare mountain bike which I can use for now. Well, till my next post!
