Growing up in Malaysia, one of my favourite breakfast cereal was Koko Krunch by Nestle. It is a chocolate cereal with a Koala Bear as a logo.

When I arrived in France, I discovered that Koko has a twin called Pico which is a chocolate loving dog. The cereal is also called Chocapic.

What I found out was that both are similar products with Koko Krunch distributed in Asia and Chocapic in Europe. Although I don’t recall ever seeing Chocapic in my 10 over years in UK.

Not sure if Nestle will ever do a brand consolidation or probably the identities of the dog and koala bear are meant to co-exist.
