I was reflecting a lot in recent days in 2025 of what I have achieved in 2024 and what to look forward to. I realised I achieved quite a bit personally in 2024. Personally, I made it to the Taj Mahal, attended Oktoberfest and also AWS Re-Invent. These were mainly driven by work. As a family, we watched the Olympics including the passing of the flames, went to Borneo, had most of the family visiting us in Europe and ended the year touring around Taiwan. What a blast! So, I find this song fitting as I want everyday to be the best day of my life.

American Authors is a pop rock band originally from Boston, now based in New York City. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Zac Barnett, bassist Dave Rublin, and drummer Matt Sanchez.
