Kevin Lyttle – Turn Me On

It is my birthday weekend and I was reminiscing of my time back in University in London. I used to have a Korean, Greek, Ukranian and Nigerian housemate in our student accommodation in McLaren House with the postcode SE1 0AP. Can’t believe that I remembered the postcode while typing it in!

One of my house mates had her CD collection which had this song playing on repeat which I eventually caught on to. She also had Sean Paul’s album which I am sure I did borrow and converted the tracks into MP3 on my laptop.

Kevin Lyttle is a Trinidadian singer-songwriter who gained international fame with his infectious blend of soca and R&B. His breakout single, “Turn Me On,” released in 2003, became a global hit, captivating audiences with its catchy melody and sultry lyrics. The track showcases Lyttle’s smooth vocals and vibrant Caribbean rhythms, making it a staple on dance floors worldwide. Its success not only introduced many to the sounds of Caribbean music but also solidified Lyttle’s place as a prominent figure in the genre. With “Turn Me On,” he created a timeless anthem that continues to resonate with fans, highlighting the universal themes of love and desire.

Happy friday folks!
