MKTO – Classic
What a long day I have had. I started my day at 330 am in the morning with a 45 min walk in the rain to my train station in Bilzen after my pre-booked Uber was cancelled to find out my train into Brussels have been cancelled too. Without giving up, ironically it was another Uber that took me to the next station which the train was running and I manage to get on time in Brussels to catch my Eurostar to Paris. I saw the station doors were heavily guarded and signs on the screens were stating Vandalism on the tracks and to expect 45 to 90 mins later. It would eventually be approx 3 hours delay into Paris but I was fortunate that my train wasn’t cancelled.
Tonight, it will be the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic games and I will be watching it with my kids this evening. Additionally, we have tickets to the badminton games tomorrow and will be one of many events hopefully which we will get to witness.
Now, TGIF. I always thought this track was new but was shocked to find out it is over 10 years now! It came up as a recommended track as part of the Spotify playlist. MKTO is an American pop and hip hop duo, consisting of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller. Their self-titled album was released on January 30, 2014. This song is infectious and I am surprised it took me so long to discover it. It now has earned its rightful place on my playlist.
