Joined a work call early this morning unknowingly that it was part of the largest IT disaster. Millions of Windows devices faced the undesirable Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). This was due to an update from Crowdstrike and I am unfortunately a victim of this. There goes my plan for the day as I have already spent every waking hour and probably more into the weekend coordinating the recovery and restoration of the service.

This event reminds me of a Eurodance song from the Italian group Eiffel 65 which indeed went viral. The group was formed in 1997 and achieved global success in 1999 with their debut single from their debut album Europop. They went on to release 2 more albums although it was hard to replicate the success of this song.
