Manage to get tickets to view the innovative 2024 Olympics Cauldron. The showpiece itself rises up above the air every evening but it was too late for us to witness it as we will all be getting ready for bed.

The Olympics Cauldron itself emits water mist and uses LED lights to create an illusion of the flame. The first to not use any fossil fuel. The location in Jardin des Tuileries was also the location where historical aviation history was made where first. The first hydrogen filled gas balloon took flight here with over 400,000 spectators. So, the setting was well thought off.

For those that are used to customs and tradition, the original flame from Greece is kept in this lantern on display near to the Cauldron.
