I started the day early (too early in fact for a weekend) by heading to Camden Town. The shops that I wanted to visit were not opened yet and hence I went to have breakfast at the Ice Wharf, one of the pubs run by JD Wetherspoons for breakfast.

I ordered the Traditional English Breakfast with a diet coke. The bill came up to GBP 4.50 which was a very good deal.

It was sort of blessing to arrive at Camden Town earlier as I have never seen it so quiet and peaceful before. The surroundings are often shadowed by the busy and crowded streets. I can finally appreciate the hidden gems of Camden Town at my own sweet pace.

After a few other stops throughout the city of London, including my old flat in Queensway, I headed back to Kennington. I had a late lunch with Alan at Tai Tip Mein in Elephant & Castle before dissapearing to Angel whereby I was to meet Ivan, Margherita, Loreto and Eva for drinks.

We settled at The Steam Passage Tavern down the road and started chatting the night away. During the conversation, I heard a sad story of a fellow retail staff that was stabbed to death in a robbery. God bless his soul and may he rest in peace.
Before I knew it, it was 10 pm and I had to catch a 1 hour and twenty minutes train home to Southampton from Waterloo. So we bid farewell and I left feeling that it was a very enjoyable evening.
